I know you probably get hundreds of messages, especially at the moment, so I’ll keep it brief. I just started reading your blog and I think you’re really brave. You might not want to hear it because it’s hard to take praise sometimes if you’re busy picking yourself apart but it’s actually quite inspiring. I wish you the best of luck and I hope we both (and many like us, who are questioning themselves, their life and where they’re going) figure things out sooner rather than later.

hey Al, long time no speak mate. i’ve just been reading over your blog and i can tell that it’s come from deep inside you. i’ll be honest, i didn’t know about any of the marriage problems and i don’t know any information know, i just hope that you’re alright, to be completely honest.

you’ve come a long way since i first listened to you on the late capital disney and hope that you’re able to keep your head high and carry on, cause i know you’re able to if you set your mind to it.

im glad you think doing the blog has cleared your mind a bit. i think it’s really brave of you mate and think you’re doing the right thing

i’m sure in the future you will be offered jobs back in the radio industry…sure, jobs are tight at the moment across all industries in the country, but i think you’ll get something again and you don’t need to worry about that. you even say that you think you should be on radio, and to be honest i agree with you. whilst you may have ‘fucked up’ in the past i think this will help convince both employers and yourself that you are capable of change.

obviously being 15 (although 16 in a couple weeks, christ i sound like a 6 year old) i’d be lying if i said i knew how you feel. i don’t know how you feel in the slightest and i can only hope you can feel better soon.

nonetheless, i hope you have a great christmas and new year and ihope 2012 is a goodun for you

Al, what’s your e-mail address, I have an e-book which you might like to read, okay it might not help, it’s a bit religious in bits but it’s quite a good read.

I tell you something too, you sure are brave blogging about your situation. I’m going through similar with Cathy, we split 3 weeks ago and she’s already filed for divorce. Second time round for me and it doesn’t get any easier.

Good luck with the blog, hope you managed to break out of the destructive loop you’re in. It made me think about my previous relationships, and I think there is something that I keep doing wrong which doesn’t help. I’ll be following your blog anyway and the offer is always there for you to come down to Torquay sometime if you want a change of scenery.

Allan, your writing made my heart go a little faster, not in a gay way. Such an honest piece of pros and I know my opinion counts for nothing because you don’t really even know me but I think you’re a great guy from the 20 minutes i met you for, not awkward at all.
